Designing complex electronic circuits nowadays is almost impossible without using some popular microcontroller development platform. One of the most popular development tools is Arduino that is used by hobbyists and developers for designing various programmable electronic devices and systems.
This book is thought as a highly practical guide for designing Arduino-based systems controlled by voice from the PC. This guide describes one possible approach to build such systems. In this approach, a control application running in Windows OS is developed using C# .NET. Each project in this guide includes both the source code for the Arduino Uno board and PC running Windows. To develop Arduino code, the Arduino IDE 1.8.5 environment was used. The C# .NET code was developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 and tested on the PC running Windows 10. The source code for the Arduino Uno described in this guide can be easily adapted for using with other Arduino-compatible boards.
